He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Acy and Stella Acy; and his siblings, Bobby Acy, Joe Acy, Larry Acy and Dolores Acy Tackett.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Acy of Greenwood, Mississippi; his brother Jerry Acy (Joyce) of Madison, Mississippi; his children, Angela Edwards of Oxford, Mississippi and Jason Acy (Jana) of Nashville, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Dodd Jones, John Abbott Jones, Jacob Acy, Aly Acy and Cayton Edwards.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Olive Baptist Church (68 Co Rd 158, Coila, MS 38923). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
