He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeff Ellis and Marie Ellis; his son John Ellis; and his nieces, Angie Cather and Tonia Flanagan.
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Starnes (Trey); his grandchildren, Quay (Nikki) and Emerson (Josy); his great grandchildren, Kensly, Kylee and Kodi-Lynn; his sister-in-law Vickie Ellis; and his sibling's children, Haley, Taylor, Jeremy, Lance and Lindsay.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Williams & Lord Funeral Home (301 Madison Ave, Greenwood, MS 38930). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
