Mary left this world on July 27, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Ray Mitchell and Jewell Greenlee Mitchell; and her brother Billy Ray Mitchell. She is survived by: her husband George Charles Joseph, Jr.; her child Brooke Stewart Reeves (Scott); her grandchildren, Mackenzie Lott and Mitchell Lott; her siblings, Laura Young (Billy Ray), David Mitchell (Charlotte) and Barbara Fields (Terry); and her nephews, Scott Mitchell, Britt Mitchell and Clint Young. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephew, as well as extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Delta Funeral Home (1008 Sgt John Pittman Dr, Greenwood, MS 38930). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Delta Funeral Home Chapel (1008 Sgt John Pittman Dr, Greenwood, MS 38930).
