She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Edwin "T. E." and Mary Wachter Kimes; and her brother Edwin "Eddie" Wachter Kimes. She is survived by: her husband Robert McCurdy; her sister Grace Kimes Bowden (Steve) of Fort Worth, Texas; her close friend Vickie Bates (Charlie) of Aledo, Texas; her children, Shayne Marie Johnson of Fort Mill, Robert Chassaniol McCurdy of Carroll County and Kevin Kimes McCurdy (Rose) of Eads, Tennessee.; her grandchildren, Eddie McCurdy (Emmalynn) of Albany, Georgia, Emilee Waldrop (Paul) of Fort Worth, Texas, Zachary Johnson (Emily) of Charlotte, Heath McCurdy (Arniecia) of Memphis, Tennessee, Hannah Porter (Noah) of Grenada, Mississippi and Jesse Johnson (Patricia) of Great Falls, Montana.; and her great grandchildren, Case Porter, Wyatt Porter, Zelie Johnson, Gianna Johnson, Josephine Johnson, Adeline Waldrop and Avila Rose Johnson.

At Nancy's request, memorials may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Greenwood.
