He was predeceased by: his father Donald Ray Hodges; and his stepfather Earl Trotter. He is survived by: his mother Betty Hodges Trotter of Greenwood; his stepmother Helen Hodges of Schlater; his son Anthony Douglas Hodges, Jr. of Cleveland; his siblings, Timmy Hodges (Pat) of Cleveland, Tommy Hodges (Maria) of Greenwood, Ray Hodges of Houston, Chris Hodges (April) of Schlater, John Hodges (Sarah) of Itta Bena, Jason Hodges of Schlater, Shannon Vargas of Greenwood and Rachel Lewis (Terrell) of Schlater; and his stepsisters, Charlotte Gilmer (BB) of Greenwood and Linda Narmour (James) of Carrollton.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bear Creek Cemetery (8551 County Rd 548, Itta Bena, MS 38941).
