He is survived by: his mother Yvonne Daves Moreman of Greenwood; his wife Doris Smith Hooks; his sons, James Hooks of Woodland and Kyle Griffin of Mantee; his sister Gail Martin (Tony) of Greenwood; his sister-in-law Gail Hooks of Carrolton; his grandchildren, Lexie Hooks, Emma Havens (Cody) and Travis Griffin; and his great grandchildren, Natalie McDowell, Rodney McDowell and Rustin Havens.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Concord Cemetery.
