Barbara will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Barbara by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Barbara is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Barbara’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil M. King and Flora M. Logan; and her aunts and uncles, Therman, Melvin, Vera and Virgil King.
She is survived by: her son Thad Easter; her daughter-in-law Sabrina Easter of Sumner; and her grandsons, Andrew Easter (Madeline Nicosia Easter) of Ocean Springs and Aden Easter of Sumner.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service (4817 Commerce St, Grenada, MS 38901).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org).
