He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Cruse and Winnie Cruse; and his brother Jimmy "Bud" Dewayne Cruse. He is survived by: his wife Sue Gordon Cruse; his children, Lisa Cruse Miller (Kent) and Bill Cruse Jr. (Frances); his sisters, Sylvia Cruse Hood (Jimmy) and Debbie Cruse Maxwell (Charlie); and his siblings' children, Beth Hardy (Jay), Jim Hood (Angie) and Chris Cruse (Nikki).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ray Funeral Home (206 Bishop Rd, Cleveland, MS 38732). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Shaw Cemetery (101 Faison St, Shaw, MS 38773).
