It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Lee of Grenada, Mississippi, born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on August 18, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Rush and Collette Cockrell Rush of Philadelphia, MS.; and her brother Rex Rush. She is survived by: her husband Joseph B. Lee III; her children, Joseph B. Lee IV (Jay) and Collette Lee McPhail (Muffet); her grandson Beauregard West McPhail (Beau); her sister-in-law Lil Rush; her nieces, Alyssa and Shelby Rush; and her great-niece Mila Hurtado.
