It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deontae James Deshawn Young (Grenada, Mississippi), who passed away on May 23, 2021, at the age of 3, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Deborah Hardin, Shirley Deloris Jones Powell, James and Margaret Latham; his great-great-grandparents, Frances Hill, Florence Ratliff and Lou Latham; and his grandfather Brent Hood.

He is survived by: his parents, Derrion Deshawn Young and Lindsay Anne Hardin; his brother Kade Thomas Hardin; and his aunts and uncles, Lainey Arrington, Lilly Arrington, Kaylin Hardin, Shyann Lloyd, Briana Young, Shaquish Gipson, Mason Hardin, Keith Thomas Lloyd, D'Ivion Young and Javaughn Powell. He is also survived by his parents, grandparents and great grandparents.
