She was predeceased by: her parents, U. G. Gatlin and Willie Minga Gatlin; and her sister Dot Berg. She is survived by: her children, Leslie Hughes (Deborah) and Melinda Lee (Jimmy) of Grenada; and her siblings, Charles Gatlin, Billy Gatlin, Ouida Semmes and Clara Loden. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
