He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Cook and Lois Cook; his sisters, Ann and Joy; and his children, Bruce and Brenda.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Cook; and his daughters, Penny Hammont (David), Sandra Prescott (Tony) and Debbie Montgomery (Scott). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Providence Baptist Church (85 Misterton Rd, Grenada, MS 38901). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
