Gloria leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Gloria’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Gloria will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Guy Ellis and Hilda Agnes Draemar Ellis; her husband Thomas Roy Chamberlain; her daughter Karen Sue Chamberlain Hipp; and her siblings-in-law, Billie Williams Chamberlain, Jane Chamberlain Downs, James Ray Chamberlain Sr. and Walter Thomas Cooley Sr..
She is survived by: her granddaughter Marissa Courtney Hipp; and her sister-in-law Martha Grace Chamberlain Cooley. She is also survived by many nephews- and nieces-in-law.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the McKibben and Guinn Funeral Home (4817 Commerce St, Grenada, MS 38901).
Memorials may be made in her honor to Gore Springs Methodist Church or Gore Springs Methodist Cemetery, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
