She was predeceased by: her parents, Johann Bierenstiel and Margarethe Spielman Bierenstiel; and her husband Clyde Roy Cook, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Cook Waller (Ron) of Madison and John Cook (Sherry) of Oakland; her sister Waltraud Feike of Rimbach, Germany; her grandsons, Phillip Waller (Kate) of Arlington, VA, David Waller of Madison and John Austin Cook (Erin) of Oakland; her great grandchild Camille Austyn Cook of Oakland; and her goddaughter Claudia Remmert (Jurgen) of Birkenau, Germany..
