He was predeceased by: his parents, James Noah Shoemaker and Annie Lee Holmes Shoemaker; and his siblings, Lucy Lee Wolford and Charles Allen Strahan. He is survived by: his daughter Rachael Fratesi of Cabot, AR; his sister Julianna Martin of Gore Springs; and his granddaughters, Katelyn and Lily.

The military honors was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
