He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Lamar and Gladys Steed Tucker. He is survived by: his wife Irene Tucker; his children, Linda Brogan (Jackie) of Grenada, Elaine Black (Buddy) of Greenville, Mike Tucker (Betty) of Madison and Scott Tucker (Brandy) of Madison; and his grandchildren, Lacy Radicioni (Wesley), Christopher Hodges (Brook), Hunter Black (Laadi), Mary Courtney Johns (Josh), Avery Tucker, Michael Tucker, Mason Tucker and Elijah Tucker. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
