He was predeceased by: his parents, Connie Lee and Winnie Lee Smith Pickle; and his siblings, Lena Pickle Dowdle, Faye Pickle Walls, C. D. Pickle and J. W. Pickle.
He is survived by: his family Larry; his wife Dorothy Lee Pickle; his sons, Jeff Pickle (Lisa) and Tracey Pickle; and his sisters, Paula Pickle Prewitt and Bernice Pickle Newman. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
