It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Sanders Mattox of Grenada, Mississippi, born in Oakland, California, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Stanny Sanders and Norma Gloria Harding Mattox; and his son-in-law Rodney Shaw. He is survived by : his wife Patsy Goss Mattox; his children, Jonathan Mattox (Carmen) of Oxford, Suzy Winstead of Grenada, Melody Macon (Kevin) of Brandon, Josh Mattox (Marie) of Grenada and Jake Mattox of Grenada; his siblings, Lynn Wessman (Ben) of Carrollton and Lee Mattox (Gena) of Madison; his grandchildren, Lane Barry (Kassidy), Brantley Shaw (Madison), Caleb Barry, Dalton Winstead, Brianna Shaw, Braylee Shaw, Hudson Mattox, Blake Mattox, Sanders Mattox, Abbie Mattox, Allie Mattox, Carter Mattox, Kohen Mattox and Joanna Mattox; and his great grandchild Everleigh Barry.
