We announce the death of Nell Ruth Mabry of Grenada, Mississippi, who passed away on October 11, 2026, at the age of 91. Nell will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Legrone Carver and Delphia Jane Carroll Carver; her husband Morris Mabry, Jr.; her son Donnie Mabry; and her brothers, Edward and William Carver.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda DeLoach of Grenada, Gerry Mabry (Lisa) of Richmond, VA and Kevin Mabry (Lindsey) of Grenada; her brother Charles Carver of Southaven; and her grandchildren, Beth Tait (Louie), Cody DeLoach (Beth), Brandon Mabry (Misty), Justin Mabry (Amanda), Cole Mabry (Ally), Caleb Mabry (Jessica), Evan Mabry (Abi) and Heath Mabry. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grenada Church of God (2384 Carrollton Rd, Grenada, MS 38901). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
