It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Collins of Grenada, Mississippi, born in Pontotoc, Mississippi, who passed away on October 6, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Omer Alfonzo and Ruby Jewel Gray Tatum; and her sister Billie Jo Harville. She is survived by: her husband Ellis "Bill" Collins; her daughters, Susan Ashcraft of Grenada and Janice Williams (David R.) of Chattanooga, TN; her brother Samuel Tatum of Ohio; and her grandchildren, Janie Elizabeth Ashcraft and John D. Ashcraft, IV.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Shriners.
