She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Flynn Hargett; her parents, Bishop Mathews and Mildred Mathews; her daughter Kim Newton; and her brother Jake Mathews.
She is survived by: her sons, Wayne Hargett (Teresa) of Charleston, MS and Michael Hargett (Michelle) of Grenada, MS; and her sister Susan Baggett (Gary) of Water Valley, MS.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
