He was predeceased by: his father John Wesley; his father-in-law Jim Hardin; and his brother-in-law Russ Hardin. He is survived by: his mother Rose Childers Banks of Grenada; his wife Leslie Hardin of Tupelo, Mississippi.; his children, Jacob Russell Banks of Grenada, Wesley Taylor Banks (Haley) of Grenada and Morgan Hope Banks of Oxford; his sister Cassie Banks Veasey of Oxford; his mother-in-law Brenda Hardin of Tupelo; his siblings-in-law, Tim Wildmon (Alison) of Tupelo and Renee Davis (Mac) of Tupelo; his niece Wriley Freeman (Wil) of Tupelo; and his nephews, Wesley Wildmon (Chelsea) of Tupelo and Walker Wildmon (Lexie) of Tupelo. He is also survived by six great nephews and five great nieces.
