She was predeceased by: her husband Edward L. Taylor; her son Daniel L. Taylor; her parents, Middleton Lucas and Norma Lucas; and her brother Stanley Lucas.

She is survived by: her children, Keta Flowers and David Taylor (Debbie Taylor). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins.
