He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Tolar and Pearl Tolar; and his sisters, Angeline Watson and Yvonne Little. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his son Ronny (Misha); his grandchildren, Braxton Peleaz, Riley Peleaz and Landon Peleaz; his son Mark (Dede); his granddaughters, Brandy Powell and Amanda McClendon; his son Billy Jr.; his adoptive son Keib Delemel; and his sister Geneva Bunch. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
