With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bobbie Barbee of Gulfport, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2025 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Mitchell, and Raymond A. Mitchell, Sr.; her brothers, Raymond A. Mitchell, Jr. and Joe A. Mitchell; her husband William Lester Barbee; her son Bill Barbee; her daughter-in-law Deena Barbee; her granddaughter Martha Barbee Young; and her son-in-law Mike Young.
She is survived by: her sons, Walter Barbee of Gulfport, Bob Barbee (Iwanna) of Madison and Jim Barbee (Diana) of Madison; her grandchildren, Jessica Barbee Ruth of Grenada, Lisa Barbee Nooe (Grant) of Brandon, Claire Johnson (James) of Atlanta, GA, Michael Barbee (Macy) of Dallas, TX, Brad Barbee (Emily) of Brandon and Doug Roberts of Nashville, TN; and her nephew Robert Mitchell of San Antonio, TX. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
