He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Adams and Lucille Adams; and his siblings, Paul, L. C. Brewer and Carolyn Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Thirrey Adams; his daughter Sarah Adams; and his siblings, Elizabeth Hoskins, Ronnie Brewer (Cathy), Aubrey Brewer (Patsy), Dwight Brewer (Louise), Robert Brewer (Lois Ann) and Gracie Beech (Jimmy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
