She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl A. Brigdon and Myrtle Lee Brigdon (Dawson); her husband Donald Carter, Jr.; and her son Gary E. Carter. She is survived by: her children, Donald Carter, III (Anita) of Manheim, PA and Leighan Richey of Gulfport, MS.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
