She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Lee of Washington and Doris Jean of Washington; and her siblings, Stacey of Washington and Roderick of Washington. She is survived by: her husband Christopher Lindsey; her children, Dion Fields, John Fields and Monique Jackson (Keith); her stepdaughter Terretha Lindsey; her siblings, Geri McInnis, Tonya Quinn (Daniel), Barbara Bonds (Charles), Karen Taylor (Darron), Stephane Childers, Eddie, Jr. of Washington and Antonio of Washington; and her grandchildren, Tracy and Alvin Pittman. She is also survived by other family members and close friends.
