He was predeceased by: his father Jack Cruthirds; his brother Silas Ray Cruthirds, Jr.; and his son Ross (Haley) of Gulfport. He is survived by: his son Grady (Chuck); his wife Frances; his stepsons, Trace McGuire (Amanda) of Gulfport and Jeffrey McGuire (Bess) of Madison; his grandsons, Grady Cruthirds, Austin Hardin, Henry and Walker McGuire; his siblings, Mark Cruthirds of Gulfport, Irene Howard (Bill Arndt) of Riverwoods, IL and Jacque Lynch (Mark) of Madison; and his siblings-in-law, Letha Cruthirds of Biloxi, Carol Smith, Cathy Longino of Gulfport, Bob Combs (Bobbi) of Fredericksburg, VA and Ken Combs (Lisa Burwell) of Gulfport. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or First United Methodist Church in Long Beach.
