He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wright and Dorothy Wright; and his brother George Wright Jr. (Paula). He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Wright; his children, Joseph Wright (Cristine) and Jena Brown (Richard); his grandchildren, Cadence Wright, Langdon Wright, Easton Brown, Paisleigh Brown, Kolbie Wright, Daniel Wright, Magnolia Brown and Lincoln Wright; his brother Sky Wright (Lynn); his sibling's children, Mark Wright (Stephanie) and Michelle Clifford (Tom); and his pet Marley. He is also survived by great-nephew; many great-nieces.
