She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Clayton and Edna Clayton; her husband Veston Lea; her former husband Homero "Peppy" Ruiz; her siblings, Hershel Clayton, Bobby Clayton, Charles Clayton and Jerry Clayton; and her grandson Bradley Drew Lea.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Defnall, Jim Defnall (Lynn), John Defnall (Kara), Darren Lea (Connie) and Valerie Lea Reed; her grandchildren, Josh, Kristine, Isaiah, Amber, Blake, Chad, Haidyn and Shawna; and her brother Bruce Clayton (Linda).
