He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Francis and Ethel Langhoff Messa; and his brother Paul Louis Messa. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his caregiver Karen Messa; his children, Michelle (Mile) and Scott (Marlene); and his granddaughters, Alyssa, Alexis, Brooke and Ashlyn.
