She was predeceased by: her father Oliver E. Cunningham; her husband Roy Newman; her mother Blanche Cunningham; and her sister Magdalene (Cecil Hudson). She is survived by: her children, Rodney Newman (Norma) of Ocean Springs, MS, Cindy Newman of Gulfport, MS, Doug Newman (LeeAnn) of Pass Christian, MS and Roianne Gutierrez (Brent) of Gulfport, MS; and her grandchildren, Lorenzo Newman, Anna Holt, Alex, Peyton, Abigail Bergin, Nancy Mason, Camille, Katharine Newman, Grant and Chad Gutierrez. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews.
