She was predeceased by: her husband Donald L. McDowell; and her son Randy. She is survived by: her sons, Melandro Alina and Donald McDowell; and her grandchildren, Kyle Alina and Emma R. McDowell.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Kidney Fund, the Humane Society of South Mississippi, or a charity of your choice, in honor of Emma's memory.
