He is survived by: his wife Dianne Welder (Ladner); his children, Tammy Bennett (Brian), Dana Gautier and Gerald Welder Jr. (Angie); and his sisters, Phyllis Sterling (Sam) and Brenda Hathcock. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
