She was predeceased by : her parents, Perdett, Sr. Ross and Arlena Patterson Ross; her sisters, Pearlena Hawthorn and Addie Jean Smith; the father of her children Richard Payne; her children, Brenda Gail Payne and Ricky Ray Payne; and her grandson-in-law James Diaz.
She is survived by : her husband Richard Payne; her daughters, Pamela Patton (Issac) of Gulfport, MS and Jerrye Elaine Lizana (John Carl) of San Jose, CA; her brother Perdette Ross Jr. of Chicago, IL; her grandchildren, Anikica Woolen (Joshua) of East Stroudsburg, PA, Kody Lizana (Patty) of Union City, CA, Bethany Diaz of Emmaus, PA, Jonathan Lizana (Johnny Ray) of San Jose, CA. and Catrease Hyde; and also Mary Mladinich. She is also survived by Many great grandchildren, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, a host of nieces and nephews.
