She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivy Watson and Mamie Watson; her siblings, Vaughn, Alton Watson, Irvin Watson and Nell White; her great grandchild Bryant Chapman; her children, Frank Dawson (Cindy), Frances Denise May (Chris) and Wanita Chapman (Jamie); and her sisters, Betty Sims, Barbara Kelly and Mae Watkins.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Amy Tungett (Duke), Kimberly Danielle Chartier (Alex), Lindsay Morgan (Grant), Alesha Dawson, Sara Kaller (Tim), Christin Breland (Patrick), Dawson Chapman (Casey) and Jamie Sheree Chapman.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Red Creek Union Baptist Church (25712 Schoolhouse Rd., Vestry, MS). A celebration of life was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
