He was predeceased by: his wife Ava "Nell" Nations; and his brothers, Robert Nations, William Nations and Neal Nations. He is survived by: his niece Diane Cecile Nations; his brother Kermit Nations of Amory; his daughter Diane "Di" Nations Smith; his son-in-law Dr. John B. "Doc" Smith of Madison; his grandsons, Dr. Tyler Nations Smith (Ellie) of Missoula, Dr. Thomas Bennett Smith (Courtney) of Oxford and Dr. Jeston "Taylor" Smith (Haley) of Southaven; and his great grandchildren, Elliot, Evan, Tripp, Jackson, Gunner, Axel and Remi. He is also survived by daughter, son-in-law and three grandsons.
