He is survived by: his daughter Billie Jo Sterling (Steven Freeman) of Horton, AL; his son-in-law Durbin Chesnut; his grandchildren, April (Doug), Cody (Tina) and Nathan Chesnut of Pennsylvania; his great grandchildren, Zachery Davy, Sarah Davy, Alyvia Chesnut, Allison Chesnut and Oren Chesnut; and his brother Danny Sterling (Barbara) of Oneonta, AL..
