He was predeceased by: his former wife Patricia B. West; his wife Bobbie Jean Smith West; and his granddaughter Heidi Bollmeyer. He is survived by: his children, James "Jim" West (Lynn), Patrick West (Connie) and Cherry Blakeslee (Bill); his grandchildren, Tiffany Martin (Arthur), Alese West, Chris West (Brock), Rebecca Bell (Brandon) and Nick Bollmeyer; and his stepchildren, Charles B. Smith (Karen), Debra Mauldin (Jack) and Prentiss Smith (Henrietta). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
