Janie Marie Schoppe Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Janie Marie Schoppe of Gulfport, Mississippi. Janie, born on January 23, 1967, passed away on October 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father James Torries; her stepmother June Torries; and her brother Richard Bailey. She is survived by: her mother Mary Geneva Bailey (Thomas); her husband Edward Schoppe; her siblings, JD Torries (Shannon), Jewell Torries (Christine) and Regina Hansen (Bob); and her stepsiblings, Martha Willis (Johnny), Lori Scarborough (Lonnie), Christy Paris and Randy Davidson (Roxanne). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Services (319 US 49, McHenry, MS 39561). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at the Torries Cemetery.
