He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Askey (Ruschak) and Paul John Askey; and his wife Ann "Toni" Chmiel. He is survived by: his children, Paul John Askey and Antoinette Hodges (Askey); his grandchildren, John T. Askey and Allison Askey Grahame (Noah); his daughter Emily Hodges Strickland (Daniel); and his great grandchildren, Forest, Sasha, Boone Grahame and Anna Strickland.
