He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus and Antonia; his wife Carmen; his siblings, Wilfredo Medina and Piringa; his children, Iris Lugo (Herbert), Roshanara Cortes and Irineo "Junior" Luciano; and his granddaughter Leticia Torres.
He is survived by: his sons, Jose E. Medina and Luis Torres (Maria); his siblings, Salvador and Mercedes; and his grandchildren, Melissa Caquias (Victor), Robert Cortes, Melinda Torres, Teresa Torres, Luis Torres, Jr. (Rose), Wilcarlos Luciano, Ricky Luciano, Steve Luciano and Rafael Luciano. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, extended family.
