He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillippo Ciaravulo and Anna DeRose Ciaravulo; his former wife Dorothy Theresa; his wife Wanda Mae Cole; and his son Robert Peter Carretto.
He is survived by: his children, Regina Marie Carretto Lawrence, Donna Marie Carretto Vorhes (late Paul) and Joseph Anthony Carretto, Jr. (Carol); his grandchildren, Danielle Marie Kahlo, Shawna Marie Kahlo-Brown (James Lee) and Ryan Mitchell Kahlo; and his great grandchildren, Gabriella Rose Brown, Elizabeth McCain Brown and Ilan Brady Kahlo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other loving family members.
Donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the American Cancer Society, or St. Joseph Catholic Church may be given in lieu of flowers.
