He was predeceased by: his parents, Frieda Romano and Leo A. Romano; his wife Virginia L. Romano; his daughter Joan Lee Romano Rodolfich; and his sister Joan Romano Boiselle.
He is survived by: his sons, Leo J. Romano (Marie), Dan G. Romano (Suzette) of Gulfport and Jay Romano (Gail) of Wesley Chapel, Florida; his sister Carol McKenna (Kenneth) of New London, Connecticut.; his grandchildren, Amber Ladner (Jonathan), Chris Romano (Veronica) of Gulfport, Nicholas Romano (Samantha) and Alexander Romano (Danielle) of Pass Christian, Mississippi.; his great grandchildren, Addison of Gulfport, Anna Grace of Gulfport, Barrett of Gulfport, Beckett Ladner of Gulfport, Rowan of Gulfport, Walker Romano of Gulfport, Linda Romano of Pass Christian and Clara Romano of Pass Christian; and his caregivers, Glenda Walraven and Odessa Adams.
Due to flower restrictions at Biloxi National Cemetery, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. James Catholic Elementary School, 603 West Ave, Gulfport, MS 39507.
