“It is with heavy heart that I write for I called to check on my buddy today and found that he had passed on. Though I'm saddened, I'm grateful to have known such a positive gentleman and Honorable WWII Marine Corsair Fighter Pilot. May you be in a much better place my friend !! My wife ,Ann, and I will surely miss the jokes and good conversation!! Hope to see you waiting at homeplate someday, when I show up to pitch !! Our most heartfelt condolences to the family and friends. I felt I was both!!”
