He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Cuevas and Edna Moran Cuevas; his brothers-in-law, Pat Ladner (Paula) and Darryl Ladner (Donna); his mother-in-law Ethelyne Hoda Ladner; and his sister-in-law Darla Cuevas (Buddy).

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Ladner Cuevas; his children, Corey Cuevas, Heath Cuevas and Cassie Cuevas; his grandchildren, Blake Cuevas (Ashley), Trinity Cuevas Prine (Chris), Courtney Cuevas Edington (James), Caitlin Cuevas and Margaret Mumford; his great grandchildren, Bryson Cuevas, Logan Gates, Dayson Cuevas, Aspyn Cuevas and Trinley Prine; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Ladner (Gail), Danita Holladay (Rick) and Vanessa Gallagher (Kerry). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren, and other dear relatives.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests Mass offerings or donations to St. Ann Lizana Catholic Church.
