He was predeceased by: his parents, Quincy Louise Winston Helwick and Eldridge Anthony Helwick; his siblings, Eldridge Helwick II and Paula Vondenstein; and his nephew Eldridge Helwick III (Tre).
He is survived by: his siblings, Dorothy Goad, Joe Helwick, Mary Quincy Winston, Lindsey Helwick, Imelda Helwick and Rose Winston; and his nieces and nephews, Steven Helwick, Sherry Losavio, Michelle Vazquez, Gary Goad, Jaimee Dorris, Chelsea White, Ashleigh Flaherty and Winston Flaherty.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar St. James Catholic Church (366 Cowan Rd, Gulfport, MS 39507). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery (8910 Carl Legett Rd, Gulfport, MS 39503). A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. James Catholic Church in Louis' name.
