With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louise Smith of Gulfport, Mississippi, who passed away on May 29, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Percy M. Smith; her son Percy Michael Smith; her parents, Willie Lorenza and Verna Inez Davis Atchison; her brother Willie Lawrence "W. L." Atchison; her son-in-law Joseph Pol III; her grandson Joseph Pol IV; and her great grandchild Cameron Lizana.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christine Pol, Patty Gaughf, Luci Willoughby and Pamela "Shelli" Mixon; her son-in-law William Mixon; her sister Betty Hill; and her grandchildren, Samuel C. Smith (Cynthia), Jade Vogel (Pete), Sharyl Walley (Chris), Christie Kessler, Jason Kessler (Michelle), Sarah Peduzzi (Mark), Jeremy Pol (Holly), Joey Lyon (Lisa), Jered Wheeler, Josh Wheeler, Justin Branning (Amanda) and Logan Mixon.
