He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Young, Sr. and Laura Young, Sr.; and his brother Dennis J. Young. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hall-Young of Gulfport, MS; his children, Michele D. Young of Dallas, TX, Michael Young, III (Felicia) of St. Louis, MO, Jordan C. Young of Dallas, TX and Tyler J. Young of Norfork, VA; his siblings, Carla Y. Nix (Jerry) of Crystal Springs, MS and Ira J. Young of Pinole, CA; his aunt Anna Paloade of Atlanta, GA; his mother-in-law Willie Mae Hall of Gulfport, MS; his brothers-in-law, Anthony Oatis of Slidell, LA, Cecil Hall (Katrina) of Williamsburg, VA and Jarvis Hall (Carol) of Columbia, MO; his nieces and nephews, Cecil, Callen, Jerry Nix Jr. (Tre Hall), Sarah Hall, Tiffanie Nix and Anaiah Nix; and his grandchildren, Mychaela N. of St. Louis, Mya A. of St. Louis and Mariah L. of St. Louis. He is also survived by many other friends and relatives.
